For our Client Software4Insurance (S4I) (www.software4insurance.co.uk), with their head offices near Winchester in the south of the UK who have recently opened up a new office in Skopje due to a continuous demand and therefore growth in their business, Dekra is looking for: SOFTWARE TESTER

ОПИС НА РАБОТНОТО МЕСТО

• Provide testing for all aspects of the software solutions, including the planning, execution and reporting of tests, using appropriate tools and techniques;
• Accurate and comprehensive recording of faults found during internal testing in the Software4Insurance Incident Management System;
• Assist with the execution of software performance tests to ensure performance based SLA’s are met and exceeded with every release;
• Liaise with other departments within the organisation where necessary to ensure the timely and efficient resolution of software faults preventing the release of Transactor products to clients;
• Where appropriate, provide second line product support to the Customer Support department;
• Assist in developing troubleshooting guides, knowledge bases, solutions, and Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ’s) for current Software4Insurance or partner products;
• Contributes to the development, documentation, and maintenance of departmental procedures required to promote efficient running and maintain the expected level of quality within the department;
• To attend meetings as required and be responsible for any associated activities such as production of minutes, and completion of follow-up actions;
• The training and mentoring of new staff from time to time may be required and once experience allows.

ПОТРЕБНИ КВАЛИФИКАЦИИ

• Experience in a software testing environment or similar;
• Degree in a Computing or Information Technology or relevant work experience;
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience working with Microsoft software technologies, including Windows NT, Windows 2000 workstation technologies;
• Good verbal and written technical communications required in English;
• Formal qualifications such as a degree or Foundation certification would be beneficial;
• Any previous experience in Accounts testing and General Insurance highly desirable.

ПРОФЕСИОНАЛНИ ЗНАЕЊА И СПОСОБНОСТИ

• A working knowledge of a bug Management System such as JIRA;
• A working knowledge of a CMS solution such as Umbraco or similar (Sitecore);
• Experience with Firebug or similar;
• Experience of Selenium IDE and Web Driver or similar (Ranorex);
• Experience or exposure to Agile Methodologies;
• Experience or exposure to SQL and / or .net Commercial experience in a software testing environment;
• MS Office proficiency (Word and Excel) required;
• Willingness to use and improve the use of software tools which automate or assist any part of the testing process, execution of tests and test reporting functions;
• Intuition, initiative, drive and a strong desire to succeed;
• Strives to continuously develop and improve own skills and knowledge;
• Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently;
• Calm and level-headed, works well under pressure.
