POSITION SUMMARY

Account Managers are the people whom our clients trust and look to for guidance. Our clients are typically marketing teams at restaurant companies, and often are looking for a person on our side to help them come up with new ideas (like ways to incorporate mobile into their marketing) or think through solving problems by using our smartphone apps as a tool.

Account Managers are brimming with common sense and helpfulness. They have a direct approach to problem solving and a positive, clear communication style. They are outgoing and analytical and can build strong relationships and loyalty with customers and co-workers. A successful Account Manager can manage, execute, optimize and provide superior service to our accounts.

Ideally, Account Managers will also be able to project manage application development. This means that you’ll be advising our clients on which features to include in their app, guiding UI design alongside our product managers, and keeping clients on-time in the development and delivery process.

In addition to Account Management, the person in this role may assist with our Customer Tech Support team. Customer Tech Support helps the end users of our apps when they have technical issues. Everyone at Relevant Mobile helps out with Tech Support as immediate, critical feedback comes through this channel. Knowing how to answer end users’ questions helps Relevant Mobile figure out what to build next and how to keep improving! A great Customer Tech Support associate is friendly, understanding, likes people, and is willing to dig deeper into problems that our Tech Support Specialists escalate upward.

In the beginning the person in this role will assist our Senior Account Manager and also partake in Customer Tech Support. With demonstrated success, ultimately this individual will be the lead point person for multiple client accounts. There will also be an opportunity for the person in this role to work with our engineers in defining what products needs to be built next – invaluable early product management experience.

Like most startups, everyone at Relevant Mobile wears many hats. We aren’t looking for someone to do the same thing day in and day out; we need a Renaissance woman/man who loves to learn! The best fit for this role will be someone capable of self-directed learning and generating problem solving ideas. This is a position where someone can grow tremendously, pursue parts of the business they are interested in, and learn a lot about how

a business runs and ultimately what you may excel in personally.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Help clients get the information they need, and execute marketing campaigns with our assistance.

  • Advise clients on best practices and industry standards for application development and implementation.

  • Build and maintain client relationships using a multitude of communication methods to ensure long term, successful partnerships.

  • Be knowledgeable about our product and think about ways that our customers can have a better experience with us by better-using our product.

  • Conduct analysis of client data to help clients meet success metrics.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve in-house and client issues using analysis and creative problems-solving skills.

  • Maintain and develop relationships with in-house sales team in order to ensure growth, development, and communication with clients.

  • Be a key player in our customer technical support team, helping them answer tougher questions and interfacing with end-users who need specialized help.

  • Above all, willingness to learn. We know not everyone knows a ton about the mobile app world, but we are happy to teach willing students!
