Sorsix is in need of employees for the following positions:
1. Quality Assurance Team Leader (Web Application Testing) - 1 position
You will be responsible for:
- Being the guardian of software and product quality
- Leading a QA team responsible for testing of various web based software products in multiple product lines and industries
- Design and evaluate product testing and other QA related documentation
- Building, implementing and maintaining: regression tests, functional tests, and load tests
- Implementing and maintaining test scripts, test scenarios and test data sets
- Collaborating with cross functional development and support teams on a daily basis, in order to develop and maintain comprehensive and realistic test suites
- Utilizing testing tools and frameworks to maintain high level of software quality
Required qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience participating in or leading web based software QA teams
- Experience in QA/Testing methodologies and software development life cycle
- Release Management Experience
- Experience in writing detailed test plans
- Get Things Done (GTD) attitude and good communication skills
- Good analytical skills and experience in analyzing and testing complex business rules
Bonus points for:
- Experience with Test Automation and Scripting (Web Driver, Selenium, Jenkins etc.)
- Experience with Java based Load Testing (JMeter, Gatling etc.)
- Proficiency in Linux/Unix systems and scripting
- Experience with SQL and relational databases
- Experience with source code managements systems like Git
- Experience with testing mobile applications
- Understanding of web software security principles
- Experience with penetration testing
2. Data Scientist - 3 positions
You will be responsible for:
- Designing and executing data experiments
- Implementing interactive and innovative data visualizations
- Implementing Machine Learning/Predictive Analysis data models
- Data Integration from multiple sources, including SQL and NoSQL databases
Required qualifications:
- A degree in Math, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering or other quantitative discipline
- Extremely strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with any of data mining, machine learning, statistical modeling tools or underlying algorithms
- Experience working and applying any of the following: Neural Networks, LDA, SVM, or Clustering algorithms
Bonus points for:
- Experience in Topological Data Analysis (TDA)
- Comfortable working in different programming languages and environments simultaneously. For example: R, Julia, Python, SAS etc.
3. .NET developer - 3 positions
You will be responsible for:
- Translating application requirements into functional applications
- Building MVC.NET C# applications, both the back-end services and their client-end counterparts
- Coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure
Required Qualifications:
- 1+ years experience with MVC.NET
- Experience with MySQL
- Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS
- Solid knowledge of JavaScript, JQuery
- Solid written and verbal proficiency in English
- Good communication skills
Bonus point for:
- Familiar with: NHibernate, Razor, LINQ
4. Linux DevOps Systems Engineer - 1 position
You will be responsible for:
- Implementing and maintaining heterogeneous production, staging, QA and development server environments in multiple locations on multiple continents
- Implementing and maintaining several virtualization solutions based on: VMware, KVM etc.
- Maintaining a high level of security in the company’s development environments
- Participating in the design of hardware solutions
- Regular security monitoring to identify any possible intrusions
- Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups
Required qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience with administration of Linux based systems
- Senior level technical infrastructure and architectural knowledge, playing a vital role in the design of production, staging, QA and development infrastructures running in 24x7 environments
- Experience documenting technical processes and workflows and procedures
- Highly comfortable with unix scripting on an almost daily basis
- Extremely strong time management skills and multitasking abilities
- Extremely strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Bonus points for:
- Ansible/Puppet/Chef
- Custom Linux compilation and tuning
- Experience with any of the following: postgresql, tomcat, јenkins, redmine, nginx, apache2, zabbix, owncloud, ELK, OpenVPN
- Knowledge of cryptographic principles like PGP, RSA etc.
- Network security knowledge
- Experience with IaaS platforms like AWS
- Experience with VLAN design
5. Project Manager - 2 positions
You will be responsible for:
- Management of SW projects, from planning through implementation and rollout up to quality assurance
- Daily project tracking and status reporting
- Understanding client requirements / presenting reliable development
- Risk & Issue management with a focus on how to resolve quickly or workaround
- The Project Manager is responsible for the delivery of client projects including new applications, change requests and maintenance releases.
- Co-ordinate and organizing appointments and meetings
Required qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in SW Development project management;
- Excellent organization and planning skills
- Extremely strong work management/prioritizing skills and multitasking abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize your workload
- University degree in computer science, or equivalent experience in the IT sector
