Position – English Teacher, Training and Development

Responsibilities:

The English training and development team at Slice will be responsible for onboarding, developing, and empowering employees through innovative new English teaching tools and programs. The English teacher will ensure that the English training sessions are designed to be impactful, engaging, and effective. The goal is to expand on the employees’ English skills, abilities, knowledge, and understanding of their role and of company policies and procedures by improving on their English. The English teacher will focus on getting new and the existing team members up to speed, as well improving the language, knowledge and English skills of all employees.

• Execute the employee English training programs for the entire company
• Develop and maintain the team’s English training scripts and records
• Identify areas of improvement for all employees by creating data driven assessments
• Work with other English tutors to implement English training programs on a companywide level
• Implement the English training syllabus to ensure all employees are attending lessons and continuously improve on their English skills
• Work with the people team to implement ongoing English programs to continue to develop employees’ English skills and knowledge
• Take a hands on approach to coach and improve employee verbal and written English skills in the classroom
• Proofread and offer feedback on employee projects and presentations
• Identify employees who are underperforming due to their English language skills
• Implement the English training programs with minimal effect on employee productivity
• Conduct surveys to monitor and analyze English training effectiveness
• Help ensure all English training programs are results oriented

Requirements:

• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
• 3 or more years of teaching or training experience
• College degree required
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with the ability to coach, develop, and motivate a team
• Experience in creating tests to evaluate knowledge level of the English language
• Ability to multitask and handle requests from different teams
• Ability to analyze data to make decisions
• Collaborate effectively with team members, managers, and department heads
• Stellar time management skills with the ability to recognize and focus on high priority tasks
• Travel to Debar when needed (at least 2 times per week)
• Deliver on all requests within the same nature of the position
• Positive and friendly day-to-day mindset
