Position – Sr. QA Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the planning of software features, including details of technical implementation and product requirements.
• Serve as an internal representative, advocate, and expert for QA, contributing that perspective to the company in every way.
• Lead the creation of a system of automated and manual tests to cover for our collection of software, including test suites and other necessary work products.
• Manage a process for the lifecycle of a bug, from initial to report to the creation of a regression test.
• Track test coverage, failures, and performance over time.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of work experience in software engineering with the focus on testing.
• At least 1 year of work experience in a management or leadership role. 
• Above average verbal and written English skills.
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools
• Familiar with current QA techniques, technologies, and best practices.
• Understanding of the software development workflow, from developer's keyboard to production servers.
• Ability to work with remote teams, across time zones and offices, and execute strategies to improve workflows.
• Comfortable serving as a leader and mentor for a growing and ambitious team.
• A degree in technology sciences, or business, or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge in programming languages (SQL, Selenium, Python, HTML, Rails).
• Experience with agile software development methodologies and process.
