We are Metergram, a growing software consultancy with teams in the U.S. and Macedonia. Our expertise lies in crafting software and integration services specifically designed for EV charging infrastructure and energy management. Our goal? We're seeking detail-oriented and passionate QA interns to join Metergram's internship program, from June 1st and until September 1st, 2024.

Your responsibilities will involve writing comprehensive and meticulous test scenarios, with an emphasis on automation testing employing a variety of tools, conducting back-end testing utilizing K6 and Postman, and executing performance testing.

You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that all development efforts adhere to the requisite quality standards.

You will get the opportunity to…

• Develop detailed and comprehensive test scenarios to cover all aspects of the project.
• Execute automation tests using Playwright to ensure front-end quality and user experience.
• Conduct back-end testing with K6 and Postman to verify system logic and data handling.
• Perform performance testing using K6 to assess system behavior and efficiency under load.
• Collaborate closely with the development team and clients to understand requirements and deliver quality solutions.
• Document test results, identify bugs and issues, and work with the team to resolve them.

Preferred Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, or last year of studies
• A keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering quality software.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Basic knowledge of automation testing, particularly with Playwright.
• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks.
• Understanding of version control systems like Git.
• Familiarity with back-end testing using tools like K6 and Postman.
• An understanding of performance testing concepts and experience with K6 is a plus.
• Experience with JavaScript is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
