Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of developers technically
• Engage in planning with the team to ensure a full understanding of the customer requirements
• Lead the team in planning and estimating sessions and technical questions
• Contribute in all phases of the development cycle
• Design and develop web applications and components
• Write well designed, testable, efficient code
• Prepare and produce releases of software components
• Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server side logic
• Optimization of the application for maximum speed and scalability
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders

Skills and qualifications:

• Good understanding of agile development processes
• In depth knowledge and relevant practical project experience in the following areas:
  • Analysis, design and implementation of distributed software applications
  • Very good knowledge in Java and Adobe Experience Manager technology, and standards such as JSP, Slightly, JEE, XML, OSGi, Sling, JCR, Maven
  • AEM architecture (author, publisher, Dispatcher, Apache Web server, CRX repository, AEM internal APIs)
  • Knowledge of web technologies such as XHTML, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, AngularJS, JSON, REST
  • Development methods like Agile / Scrum, test-driven development
• Experience in software modeling (UML)
• Versed with Microsoft development tools (IDEs and build management tools)
• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
• Proficient of code versioning tools, such as GIT/ SVN / Mercurial
• Good written and spoken English knowledge.
