We are currently looking for Ruby on rails developer to join the team.
The client
Our client is a company that develops pre-accounting SaaS platform that automates bookkeeping practice based in Barcelona. They extremely simplify business administration streamlining business documents & banking workflows. Their goal is that businesses have all their information up to date, in the same place, by just spending a fraction of the time.
About the role and you
This position will take responsibility for improving and maintaining the current technology, as well as adding exciting new features to their product. We aim for someone experienced but still hungry for learning, humble, who can contribute his experience to not only our platform, but the rest of the team as well.
Experience & skills:
- Experience with Ruby on rails is a must
- Experience with JavaScript (React is considered as a plus)
- You have high standards on quality, reusable code, testing and other best practices
- Full development cycle: analysis and collaboration with the other teams within the company, development, testing, and deployment
The stack
- Frontend: React, React Native, JS;
- Backend: Ruby, Elasticsearch, Sidekiq, Redis, MySQL, Python Tensorflow;
- Infrastructure: AWS, nginx, Capistrano, Puppet, Terraform
Education
Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc.) of Informatics and computer engineering or similar is considered as a plus
Foreign languages
You will also work directly with our client, so fluent English is required
Minimum B1 (Intermediate)
