Quality Manager 
 
Position responsibilities and duties:

• Organizes and coordinates the work activities of the employees in the organizational unit for quality control; Ensures the compliance of already adopted rulebooks and procedures related to the quality of the row-materials, semi-products, and finished products; 
• Coordinates the activities related to visits by external auditors; 
• Provides support to the managers to comply with the requirements imposed by specific standards or certifications;
• Provides guidelines for harmonizing the production process with the already established quality standards of semi-finished products and finished products;
• Responds to complaints by customers regarding the quality of the products delivered;
• Monitors compliance with the KEMET Global Code of Conduct;
• Cooperates and coordinates with other Managers;
• Other activities requested by the plant manager and the Quality Manager of EMEA.   

Required qualifications and skills:

• University degree in an engineering discipline;
• Knowledge of ISOTS 16949 (new IATF 1949) + ISO9001; 
• Knowledge of main Automotive tools (FMEA, PPAP, MSA, SPC);
• Analysis and Improvement tool knowledge (Fishbone, 5 W, 8D, PDCA approach);
• Experience in Quality Management in an automotive manufacturing environment is required;
• Office package with particular focus on excel; 
• Minitab/Access /database management knowledge are additional appreciate skill;
• Good relationship and communication capability;
• Analytic and proactive attitude;
• Leadership attitude;
• Fluent English skills;
• Personal skills and competences: Accurate, Flexible, Honest, Independent, Organized, Responsible, Written and verbal communication, Time management (organization);
• Technical skills and competences: Oracle, Lotus, MESS, Writing procedures, Knowledge transfer, Commercial awareness; 
• Organizational skills and competences: Planning, Organizing the work, Motivating others, Team building and team work, Communication and managing conflicts, Project management, Problem solving, Making decisions.
