Our company is presently seeking to hire a lead for our PeopleSoft Integration project. The ideal candidate will have exceptional problem solving abilities, while being a self-starter and a fully dedicated independent contractor working in a virtual environment.
This role will be an integral part of a dynamic team and the successful candidate will have an opportunity to design, develop and integrate (bi-directional) our proprietary web-based enterprise solution with Oracle's PeopleSoft (Finance Module).
The candidate’s role will be to execute strategy, design, development, testing, deployment and support of a software system in a high performance team environment. The scope will include, but not be limited to the following:
• Analyze, design, prototype, develop, test, deploy and support – oversee the complete SDLC, employing Agile methodology
• Work with customers, prospects, implementation partners, and other team members to envision and deliver required functionality
• Create and enhance a scalable web-based enterprise solution and relevant Oracle PeopleSoft integration
• Assess risk and impact on existing architecture, as new functionality is developed
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:
• Superior knowledge of Oracle PeopleSoft Integration Broker Design/Development/APIs
• Superior knowledge of Java (EJB/Servlets/JavaScript) J2EE Enterprise Technologies, including JNDI, JDBC, JMS, UML, and XML
• Excellent knowledge of Oracle WebLogic
• Excellent knowledge of Oracle Database
• Working knowledge of HTML5, JQuery (jQuery Mobile), Ajax
• Working knowledge of Web Services
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
• Experience working in a team-oriented, virtual collaborative environment
• Self-starter, with effective Time Management skills
The following skills will be considered an asset:
• SOA/SaaS experience
