On behalf of our reputable client, Teva Pharmaceuticals a global leader in generic and specialty medicines with a portfolio of 3,500 products in nearly every therapeutic area located in Dupnica, Bulgaria, we are looking for highly motivated candidates to fulfill below position:

TECHNICIAN

Role Summary/Purpose:

Assembles, disassembles and adjusts the format parts of the packaging line. Performs setup, maintenance and preventive maintenance on packaging lines. Performs planned, major and unplanned repairs. Performs diagnostics of complex equipment problems in the section (electrical engineering, electronics, automation, mechanics, pneumatics) and fixes them. Performs training of senior operators and technician-operators related to technical skills and knowledge. Participates in the packing line processes in the "Packaging" section and completes the relevant documents.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Strictly complies with the requirements of the DPP;
• Operates exactly as described in Standard Operating Procedures;
• Responsible for the good technical condition of electrical equipment, machines and facilities in the Production Directorate. Monitors their proper operation;
• Installs and sets up the packaging line format in "Primary Packaging"/ "Secondary Packaging", before starting the "Packaging" process;
• Uninstalls the machine form in “Primary Packaging”/ “Secondary Packaging”, after the “Packaging” process is finished;
• Performs machine adjustments during the “Packaging” process in “Primary Packaging”/ “Secondary Packaging”;
• Performs preventive inspections, planned, emergency and basic repairs of the equipment;
• Performs preventive maintenance on equipment and reflects activities in relevant electronic systems;
• Performs diagnostics and repairs of specific components (electrical, electronic, pneumatic, mechanical) and units of the equipment;
• Provides assistance to the Technical Support Expert/Chief Expert, when carrying out repair work on the production equipment;
• Participates in installation and introduction into production mode of new equipment and format parts;
• Informs the Technical Support Expert/Chief Expert about identified omissions made during the repair and operation of the production equipment;
• Informs the Technical Support Expert/Chief Expert about the need for repair work, staff training, the purchase of spare parts and consumables;
• Participates in production studies and determines the causes of production equipment breakdowns and accidents;
• Follows the production schedules and instructions of the Packaging Supervisor, and informs him of the progress of the process;
• Works in manufacturing electronic systems;
• Responsible for the quality of the finished packages produced when working on the packaging line;
• Cleans the packaging line and workplace, according to current Standard Operating Procedures;
• Completes the necessary production documentation in a timely manner - paper / electronic, accurately and in real time of the process, when it is necessary to work on the packaging line;
• Carefully prepares and inspects the packaging line and equipment before starting work and after stopping when required to work on the packaging line;
• To protect the property in the Work Center and section;
• In the event of non-standard situations and accidents, to notify his immediate supervisor as soon as possible and to carry out his instructions until the problem is resolved;
• To comply with all the requirements of the Labor Code and the internal regulations /Rules for the internal labor rules, orders, directives of the management/;
• To take reasonable care of his own safety and health, in accordance with established Standard Operating Procedures and instructions, and also that of others who may be affected by acts or omissions in his work;
• Sets an example of safe behavior;
• Performs approved activities for environmental management and a system for managing health and safety working conditions;
• To know and apply the regulatory requirements in the field of environment and health and safety at work;
• Knows the Company and Work Center Business Continuity and Resilience Program and relevant incident escalation policies.

Qualifications / Requirements:

• Education and Work Experience Requirements:
  • Education: Higher technical or Secondary technical. Educational degree with specialization appropriate for the position.
  • Professional experience - 3 three years in the specialty. Minimum of 3 years of continuous work experience in the production of medicinal products.
• Additional qualifications, training and experience:
  • Computer literacy - Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, MS Office
  • English language – intermediate level.

Communication:

Ascending: Packaging Supervisor/ Senior Packaging Supervisor/ Senior Packaging Manager.
