JOB SUMMARY:
The responsible project manager on site is qualified to operate the wastewater treatment plant and has at least a degree as a specialist for wastewater technology.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Manager ensures safe operation of the membrane wastewater treatment plant and all associated plant components including the following tasks:
- The operation, repair and decommissioning of the technical installations
- Monitoring of the technical equipment / buildings / structures
- Recording damage and malfunctions
- Regular check of safety devices for function
- Elimination of damage and malfunctions
- Contact point for users to accept complaints, damage and / or fault reports in connection with the function of the wastewater treatment plant (3 times per week championship round)
- Initiation of maintenance measures and maintenance work by qualified personnel
- Care, cleaning and disinfection of the system and all associated components as well as their value retention
- Keep the operating diary and participate in all reporting tasks
- Sampling and verification of the target values to be observed
- Stockpiling of the chemicals / operating aids, wear parts, spare parts and cleaning/disinfecting agents required for operation
- Monitoring the suction of sewage sludge
- Supervises the workers assigned to him and is responsible for the continued functioning of the plant.
Qualification:
- Secondary technical education, university degree would be a plus
- 3-5 years working experience
- Responsibility and ability to work without close supervision
- Willing to work in crisis-ridden areas
- Fluent in English language.
- Knowledge of German is an asset.
