Quality Engineer

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or a related engineering discipline,
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the manufacturing industry, preferably in the automotive, white goods, or metal manufacturing sectors,
  • Knowledge and experience in Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001),
  • Proficient in Quality Core Tools, including APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, and related methodologies,
  • Experienced in problem-solving techniques such as 8D, 5 Why, and Ishikawa,
  • Preferably knowledgeable in the SAP S/4HANA Quality Management (QM) Module,
  • Proficient in MS Office applications,
  • Good command of English; knowledge of Turkish is preferred,
  • Able to read and interpret technical drawings, dimensions, and tolerances,
  • Proficient in the use of measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, gauges, protractors, and other inspection equipment,
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and results-oriented mindset,
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment,
  • Holds a valid driver's license and is an active driver,
  • Willing to participate in a 2 to 6-month training program at our production facility in Turkey as part of the onboarding process.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Ensure the effective execution of Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) activities,
  • Monitor the implementation of quality inspections in accordance with quality control plans throughout production processes,
  • Ensure that quality control results are accurately recorded in the SAP system and that all related documentation is properly maintained,
  • Continuously monitor, analyze, and improve product and process quality,
  • Manage internal and external customer quality requirements, participate in customer audits, and represent the company during quality-related activities,
  • Prepare for internal and external audits and provide support throughout the audit process,
  • Perform root cause analyses for non-conformities and initiate, monitor, and close corrective and preventive actions (CAPA),
  • Monitor, analyze, and report quality performance indicators to management on a regular basis,
  • Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Purchasing, and Supplier Quality teams to resolve production-, process-, and supplier-related quality issues,
  • Take an active role in continuous improvement projects to ensure the sustainability of quality standards,
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives aimed at increasing customer satisfaction.
