We are looking for a brilliant Robotics Engineer to join Matrix Global’s team for our client

Profile:

The candidate will mainly work on the Siemens Robotics Simulation Software platform called
Process Simulate. He/She will develop and maintain Offline Programming (OLP) applications
in this environment.
On Process Simulate, an OLP application consists in a teach pendant, a simulation, a
download and an upload module, all written in .NET C# programming language. Some
accessory utilities are written in Perl programming language.
The candidate may also be involved in some developments on another Siemens platform
called NX-CAM, still in the area of Robot Offline Programming and simulation.
On NX-CAM, development are mainly in TCL and Python programming languages.
The candidate will report to the OLP Europe Robotics Team Leader.

General requirements:

– Fluent English;
– Engineering degree or equivalent;

Technical skills:

– Main Programming Environment: Visual Studio.
– Excellent knowledge in following domains:

• .NET C# Programming Language;
• Object Oriented Programming;
• Visual Studio / Visual Studio Designer;

– Good knowledge in following domains:

• Analytical geometry, vector and matrix manipulation;
• Perl Programming Language;

– Experience in Analysis and understanding of existing code;
– Some knowledge or experience in following domains would be an advantage:

• C/C++ Programming Language;
• Robotics, preferably in Offline Programming;
• Tcl Programming Language.
