Mid to Senior DevOps Engineer

Description

We are hiring a mid-level or senior DevOps engineer to help develop a bleeding-edge online platform solution. The main responsibility will be deploying and maintaining scalable, secure cloud infrastructure and pipelines for web applications, databases, and related configurations. You must be skilled at problem-solving, analysis and communication.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience with cloud infrastructure and distributed systems (GCP, AWS or Azure)
• At least 3 years of experience with Docker containers, Kubernetes, and Terraform
• Serious computer science theoretical foundation
• Strong experience with and enthusiasm for Linux
• Experience with sophisticated CI/CD pipelines
• Strong understanding of DevOps and IaC best practices
• Strong troubleshooting skills and understanding of web applications
• Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
• Experience with MongoDB and PostgreSQL is an advantage

• Responsible for timely resolution of critical scenarios as they arise e.g. data recovery and availability issues
