CHIEF ACCOUNTANT
Main responsibilities:
- Ensure tax, legal and administrative compliance to local regulations
- All statutory financial statements and coordination and reconciliation of local accounts
- Preparation of monthly closings and analysis of monthly financial reports
- Margin management, assistance in Sales Support Initiatives in direct sales
- Review and implement internal control procedures, confer with appropriate internal and external requirements to ensure that the required procedures are followed. Also coordinate the work of external auditors.
- Coordinate Budget and Forecast preparations, design and implementation of budget control mechanisms, follow up on the results and investigate possible deviations
- Debt collection and increase in collection effectiveness
- Ensure career, succession and development planning for finance staff
- Reports to: Country Manager / Functional reporting to Finance Manager
Requirements:
- University education background
- Fluency in English
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience on similar jobs
- Excellent planning skills
- Certified Public Accountant certificate required
- Excellent knowledge of local legal requirements
- Proficient IT skills and the possibility to quickly adopt to new IT environments
