PROCUREMENT MANAGER
Key responsibilities:
- Liaising with key company employees to determine their product and service needs
- Monitoring business trends and product availability to pay the best price for company goods and services without sacrificing quality or delivery times
- Negotiating with external vendors to secure advantageous sourcing terms
- Approving the ordering of necessary goods and services
- Finalizing purchase details of orders and deliveries
- Cutting any waste and unnecessary costs to create streamlined processes
- Understanding and keeping up with new trends and regulations in the function/sector
- Examine and test existing contracts
- Tracking and reporting key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
- Collaborating with key stake-holders to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company
- Foreseeing alterations in the comparative negotiating ability of suppliers
- Expecting unfavourable events through analysis of data and prepare control strategies
- Performing risk management for supply of key items, contracts and agreements
- Assessing total costs of company purchases
- Controlling spend and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs
Requirements:
- University degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration or related
- Proven working experience as a procurement manager, procurement officer or head of procurement
- Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as a skill in “reading” the market
- Talent in negotiations and networking
- Good knowledge of suppliers’ base
- Ability in decision-making and working with numbers
- Experience and expertise in collecting and analyzing data
- Strong leadership capabilities
- Proficient communicator in English language
Offer:

- Working hours: Monday to Friday from 08:30h to 16:30h.
