We’re seeking a Mobile App QA & Release Engineer to work across cutting-edge mobile technologies. You’ll be responsible for manual testing across mobile games, applications and products; developing test cases to validate new functionality on a continuous basis; and preparing builds to upload on the app stores.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate closely with our marketing team; take ownership of store marketing materials; build and maintain app store presence
- Upload apps to all stores and send reports to management
- Prepare builds for QA
- Apply QA practices; test features and functionalities
- Design, create, maintain and execute manual tests of games built on different platforms (Unity3d, Cocos2dX, Cocos2d, etc.)
- Ensure quality issues and defects are properly identified, documented, tracked and resolved in the defect tracking system
- Interact with developers, product managers and project managers
- Give the final YES for product quality
Requirements:
- Knowledge of iOS and Android mobile platforms - a MUST
- Excellent analytic, linguistic and interpersonal communication skills - a MUST
- Overall understanding of Quality Assurance and a strong desire to work in this field
- Relevant technical degree (example: Computer Science)
- Familiarity with iOS human interface guidelines and other industry standards
- Familiarity with regression tests, sanity checks, and feature-specific tests
- Experience with QA methodologies, QA documentation (STP\STD) and QA tools (Jira\Testrail, etc.)
- Familiarity with MAC OS X and iOS applications
- Passion for technology and testing; ability to achieve deadlines and work independently
- Ability to solve problems and think laterally independently and as part of a team
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
- Outstanding written and spoken English
- QA experience - a big advantage
- Experience testing mobile apps/games - a plus
- Experience with Xcode and/or Android Studio - a plus
