Legal Associate

PCS One (www.pcs-one.com) was established by two English-qualified solicitors who review, draft and negotiate agreements for private equity funds. This opening is for a lawyer, law graduate or paralegal who is interested in a flexible position in our growing team in Skopje.

Responsibilities:

• Reviewing and marking-up non-disclosure (confidentiality) agreements by following clients' playbooks
• Addressing comments and amendments proposed by counterparties
• Organising and managing documents using an online document management system

Working Hours & Benefits:

This is a contract-based opportunity with no fixed working hours. The schedule is completely flexible as long as a 16-hour turn-around time is adhered to for each contract review.

The rate per reviewed non-disclosure agreement varies from client to client and may also depend on the complexity of the work. The approximate rate is £23 per non-disclosure agreement handled from first review to execution and starts off at £50 for engagement letters. We pay a 50% premium for rush requests that need to be processed more quickly than the standard turn-around time. Subject to satisfactory performance, we would like to transition you to full-time employment, although we can accommodate part-time schedules.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Law
• Experience as lawyer, in-house counsel or paralegal is desirable though not mandatory
• Familiarity with non-disclosure agreements (desirable but not mandatory)
• Working knowledge and competency with Microsoft Word and Outlook
