Duties and Responsibilities

• Deliver sportsbook related services into client-facing environments (Stage, production...);

• Analyze and troubleshoot deployment issues on time;

• Collaborates with Release Manager and Product team to collect technical changelog;

• Maintain CI/CMDB in a structured way to accomplish standardized, transparent and repeatable delivery practice using Ansible, Jenkins and BitBucket (or similar technologies as adopted);

• Advocate for implementation of better application health monitoring and health assessment mechanisms;

• Working closely with Devs and system engineers to establish sustainable operations regarding system monitoring and notifications, log management and regular maintenance activities;

• Manage service infrastructure setup and configuration;

• Provide monitoring, interventions tools for support teams;

• Participate in P1/P2 incidents and participates in postmortems;

• Provide KB for support teams in terms of product maintenance and monitoring;

• Related duties are assigned.

Job requirements

Qualifications  

Working Experience: 

• 2+ years in experience in Linux system administration;

Standard Qualifications:

• Knowledge of DevOps practices;

• Proficiency in Linux administration (specifically Ubuntu)

• Knowledge of Web Services & APIs;

• Good to have ITIL Foundation V3/V4 Certificate;

• Solid knowledge application Configuration Management;

• Knowledge of scripting languages and tools (bash, python, awk, PowerShell etc);

• Solid knowledge of API clients such as Postman;

• Basics of Monitoring and Log management tools usage and configuration;

• Knowledge of Log Management;

• Knowledge of the English language.

Preferable Qualifications:

• Advanced knowledge of CI/CD practice and tooling (Ansible, Jenkins, Bitbucket);

• Knowledge of network architecture and security principles

• Advanced knowledge of web/application servers (Apache, Nginx, Wildfly)

• Advanced knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes;

• Advanced knowledge of scripting languages and tools (bash, python, awk etc);

• Experience with Prometheus, Grafana

• Proficiency in Jenkins administration

• ITIL 4 Certification;

• Knowledge of UML;

• Knowledge of ITSM frameworks;

• Experience using a CMDB.
