At GÜLERMAK, our wide range of services are tailored to meet the unique needs of our client’s preferences, which include Metros, Tunnels, Railways, HSRs, Tramways Highways, Bridges, Viaducts, and Hydro-Electric Power Plants, with the successful delivery of more than 30 number of prestigious EPC Metro, Tram, Rail and HSR projects in Poland, Sweden, U.A.E, India, Turkey and North Macedonia.

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled IT Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software issues, performing system upgrades, maintaining network connectivity, and ensuring the smooth operation of the company’s technology systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Support: Provide day-to-day support for hardware, software, and network-related issues for employees or clients.
  • Hardware Management: Install, configure, and troubleshoot computer hardware, such as desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
  • Software Support: Install, configure, and update software applications and operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux, etc.).
  • Network Administration: Assist with managing local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and VPN setups. Troubleshoot network issues such as connectivity and performance problems.
  • System Maintenance: Perform regular system checks, data backups, and software updates to ensure proper functionality.
  • Security & Compliance: Help with the implementation of security protocols to protect systems and data (antivirus, firewalls, encryption).
  • Documentation: Maintain clear documentation on troubleshooting steps, system configurations, and IT inventories.
  • Training & Assistance: Assist users with IT-related questions and provide training on basic IT tasks such as password resets, email setup, and software usage.
  • Hardware Repair/Replacement: Identify hardware issues and, when necessary, repair or replace defective parts.
  • Emergency Response: Respond quickly to IT emergencies, such as system outages or network disruptions, ensuring minimal downtime.

Qualifications:

  • Education: A degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional) are a plus.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in a technical support or IT support role. Experience in a corporate or business environment is preferred.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency with Windows, macOS, and/or Linux operating systems.
  • Knowledge of hardware diagnostics and repairs.
  • Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
  • Experience with IT security practices, including antivirus and firewall configuration.
  • Experience with remote support tools and troubleshooting software.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
  • Customer service-oriented with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
