Oriflame has been operating successfully in Macedonia, from 1996. For the needs of the Macedonian team, Oriflame is looking for a qualified, motivated and dynamic candidate for the position:
CHIEF ACCOUNTANT
Purpose of Role: Chief Accountant is responsible for financial goals delivery, budgeting, credit collection and tax & legal compliance of the Oriflame organization. Reports to Country Manager/ Functional reporting to Finance Manager Western Balkans. As a business partner to Country Manager, Chief Accountant contributes in making important business decisions and directions of the market, assisting Finance Manager in analysis, projections and forecasts. The responsibility also includes communication and cooperation with finance service center.
Main responsibilities:
- Responsibility for delivery of the targeted operating profit
- Ensures that Group accounting policies and procedures are implemented, and that full control and authorization over all expenditure is maintained,
- Ensures Tax Compliance
- Preparation of Statutory Financial Statements; Preparation/supervision of VAT, WHT and other local reports
- Financial judgement of plans
- Ensures timely and accurate communication with finance service center in order to receive quality service
- Plans, directs and defines appropriate Credit and Collections policies and procedures
- Budget performance verification, control and activities to ensure Operational Profit delivery
- Manage monthly/quarterly reporting process
- Cost optimization
- Communication and cooperation with external legal advisors
Requirements:
- At least 3-5 years of experience as Finance Controller or Chief Accountant, in controlling, audit or accounting department in an international company
- University degree, preferable in finance or economic sciences
- Knowledge of management accounting and taxes
- Technical knowledge and skill - IT knowledge (excel, ERP systems); Fluency in English
- Certified Public Accountant certificate is strongly desirable, but not mandatory
- Analytical thinking, ability to work in dynamic environment, decisiveness, ability to identify commercial opportunities and focus on profitability, presenting skills, coping with stress, support and develop others
