Social media researcher
Details about the position/responsibilities: The Social media researcher will initially be employed locally in Skopje. The position mainly will involve searching Social media platforms for potential video/news stories with help of the current team and project manager. Articles are written on a wide variety of topics ranging from general news to domestic affairs, politics, sports, and society. The idea is to search social networks for interesting and news wordy content such as videos and pictures and stories that journalist is able to convert different sources of information into an article suitable for a British and USA audience.
Skills needed / requirements:
- Interest in social media platforms
- Interest in the news business
- Interest in social media stories and viral content
- Fluency in English
- The successful candidate should be able to work both independently and to cooperate on tasks with a variety of other people on our online news desk.
- Journalistic experience or knowledge of multiple languages is a plus but not necessary if the candidate is enthusiastic about learning.
