B2B CONFERENCE SALES TEAM LEADER
We are a leading b2b conference company expanding our international sales team with a fast-paced person who can empower our sales representatives’ team, achieve goals, and reach for the stars. The ideal candidate is a motivated, well-organized individual with a deep understanding of prospecting and developing strong relationships with customers. This is an exciting role for a candidate who enjoys working in a lively environment and developing their talents in international sales, especially in the EMEA market.
Your key tasks/responsibilities will be:
- Active research and developing product knowledge of industries related to the event.
- Involved in the business development and attracting sponsors in the EMEA region
- Work together with colleagues from other departments to improve efficiency and overall projects delivery
- Give prompt reports on crucial issues to direct senior officer, suggest answers where obtainable.
- Generate action plans to enhance the performance and productive capacity of the sales team
- Negotiating with high-level clients and closing sales for the team.
- Make propositions, give suggestions and designate sales targets and job obligations to each sales staff
- Offer inspiration and training of internal sales personnel on how to attain business sales objective
- Assist sales representatives to intensify sales via training on sales methods, research, handling objections, etc
- Supervise and monitor KPIs of sales representatives
- Appraise performance of staff, give suggestions, reward or award disciplinary proposals where applicable
Essential Skills and Qualifications required:
- Proven track record in B2B conference sales
- University or College degree
- Fluency in English, additional language skills are an advantage
- Ownership of the complete sales process from prospecting to closing the deals
- Supervisory experience, preferably in the events industry
- Knowledge of utilization of computer programs such as MS Office and CRM
- Excellent communication skills
- Demonstration of positive player spirit and cooperative sales skills within the team.
- Ability to direct and be a mentor on the sales ground by actively working to attain everyday sales objectives
- Success-driven approach, a proven determination to succeed with no excuse’s mindset
- Motivation, passion, determination, and a will-do attitude
- Solid work ethics and enthusiasm
