At InPlayer, we develop the next generation video and digital asset monetization platform. The InPlayer team consists of leading industry experts who have helped manage the distribution and monetization of content for some of the largest media and technology companies in the world. We are a small team that’s growing and we’re looking for a Senior Software Developer. We have some exciting projects and we are looking for talented people to meet and exceed the technical challenges we face. As a Senior Software Developer, you will:

• Design software architecture ensuring software meets all requirements of quality, security, modifiability, extensibility
• Work with several large and complex SQL databases and queries
• Develop algorithms to streamline backend business workflow
• Work on a variety of tasks regarding our product and its related services
• Encounter new challenges every day and be a part of the dev team who is responsible for enhancing and maturing our great product

We’re looking for:

• Excellent knowledge in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, Continuous Integration/Deployment Tools  
• Expertize in PHP based frameworks (we are currently using Symfony v2 / v3, Laravel v5 )
• 5+ years of object oriented web development experience – ideally PHP
• Solid experience with Microservices – we have tons of them, and many more on the horizon. We expect you to take full ownership of the ones dedicated to you
• Experience with RabbitMQ
• Experience with ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana)  
• Knowledge of Doctrine
• Passion for creating great products and solving unique problems, while maintaining ‘“clean code” and quality standards

Bonus points if you have:

• Experience with RESTful API design
• Experience with AWS
• Worked with Docker Environment
• Knowledge of Kubernetes
• Advanced Microservice Principles (Service discovery, API gateways, data transaction consistency etc.)
• Know how to work with popular GitHub PHP libraries
• Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and tools
• Comfort with frequent, incremental code testing and deployment
• Strong grasp of automation tools
• Detail-oriented, resourceful, and self-motivated mindset. You get stuff done!
