Role Overview
Solution Architect is responsible for creating a comprehensive architecture for a software solution and providing strategic direction throughout the development process. The person in charge of leading the practice and introducing the overall technical vision for a particular solution.
Duties and Responsibilities

Supervise and guide development teams;
-
Evaluate system architecture and collaborate with dev teams to improve it;
-
Research emerging technologies and propose changes to the existing architecture;
-
Collaborate with other Architects to establish common goals and standards;
-
Assist Program and Product Managers to define high level product strategy;
-
Work with Program and Product Managers to determine the capacity allocation for enablement of work;
-
Define: a high-level structure of a software system (architecture), its main components and their interfaces; interactions of these components with each other and with external systems; a general architectural vision that guides the company and serves as a basis for mutual understanding between all parties involved in product development.

Conduct research on existing systems and devise solutions that work within those systems.
Qualifications
Working Experience:
-
At least 7 years of proven experience in IT architecture, Cloud Oriented Architecture. Engineering and software architecture design;
-
Previous project management experience is advantageous;
-
Experience performing code reviews and providing feedback to developers;
-
Experience implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests;
-
Practical experience with projects in relevant engineering domain;
-
Be familiar with principles of computer networks and IT security management;
-
Understanding of business analysis techniques and processes.

Exceptional knowledge of programming languages;

Strong knowledge of systems used in our stack;

Knowledge of typical enterprise integration patterns;

Strong knowledge of various operating systems and databases;
