Located in Skopje, Macedonia, we already have an established relationship with our clients who are engaged in generating independent news for international publications.

We offer multimedia services and content ranging from pictures and video through to news items. We also offer related services such as IT support, statistics and graphic design.

We have a team of qualified professionals supporting the journalistic and editorial work of our clients and our team is growing all the time.

1/ German Illustration Editor

2/ Russian correspondent

3/ Greek correspondent

 Details about the position / responsibilities:

1/ German Illustration Editor

· Use journalism and online research skills to trace the owners of videos currently trending in news and social media

· Communicate with the members of public who own the videos and obtain the necessary permission for them to be used in the media

· Also to liaise with owners of the videos to secure the exclusive rights to the video by negotiating an offer to buy the video from the said owner

· Use the experience gained from the rolls described above to source trending and relevant videos on social media from different geographic and vertical niches and obtain the necessary permission

· If needed, use journalist research, interviewing and writing skills to obtain the necessary information - who, when, where, what, how and why - to write an article about the content so that it can be published in the media

2/ Russian correspondent

3/ Greek correspondent

· The journalist will monitor news media from the Russian or Greek region. This might be material from press releases, or searching the Internet for potential news stories.

· Write articles on a wide variety of topics ranging from general news to domestic affairs, politics and sports and society.

· The journalist should be able to convert different sources of information into an article suitable for a British audience.

· Pay attention to detail, accuracy, and be able to distinguish facts from unverified claims, and main issues from side issues.

4/ Spanish Senior Reporter

5/ Russian Senior Reporter

 · The person will be working together with junior reporting staff to edit Spanish or Russian content and English version of the articles for distribution to our global client list.

· This might be articles written on a wide variety of topics ranging from general interest through to domestic affairs, politics to sports and society.

· All the elements of the story including video and pictures as well as the text need to be woven together seamlessly, and an awareness of writing for international audience and an awareness of legal issues is an advantage.

· The successful candidate will need to pay attention to detail, accuracy, and be able to distinguish facts from unverified claims, and main issues from side issues.

 

Skills needed / requirements:

1/ German Illustration Editor

 

· Excellent knowledge of German and English

· Must have the ability to follow systems, be confident talking with members of the public online and work to targets

· To be able to prioritise, multitask, and be eager to (quickly) learn new skills/roles.

· Take initiatives, question issues, be a problem solver.

· Also, an eye for detail and a critical mind, and to be able to work both independently and to cooperate on tasks with a variety of other people in our online news desk.

2/ Russian correspondent

3/ Greek correspondent

· News judgement in being able to distinguish a strong story from a weak one.

· Fluency in Russian or Greek and English are essential.

· Strong internet browsing skills, an eye for detail and a critical mind.

· Investigative skills, to try and get additional exclusive details, as well as permission to use material.

· The successful candidates should be able to work both independently and to cooperate on tasks with a variety of other people on our online news desk.

· Journalistic experience or other languages are a plus but not necessary if the candidate is enthusiastic about learning.

· The ability to produce news items at a professional level and fluency in Spanish or Russian and English are essential.
