As a Systems Engineer DevOps, you will:

• Be part of our DevOps team in charge of the systems that process the huge amounts of data that our platform handles, making sure they scale smoothly with our growth 
• Take on a role in the planning, installation, integration, operation, optimization and continuous development of our infrastructure
• Develop and support tools for infrastructure to be used by other engineers
• Mentor and support engineers regarding tools, concepts and best practices
• Do ongoing maintenance for production AWS instances for upgrades and patches
• Work on a variety of tasks regarding our product and its related services
• Encounter new challenges every day and be a part of the dev team who is responsible for enhancing and maturing our great product 

 

We're looking for: 

• Good understanding of the DevOps principles and culture
• Experience with AWS 
• You have worked with container technologies like Docker and automation tools as Ansible and Jenkins 
• Very good knowledge of Linux environments
• Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and tools 
• Good knowledge of design patterns, system architecture, and best-practices

Bonus points if you have:

• Comfort with frequent, incremental code testing and deployment 
• Advanced Microservice Principles (Service discovery, API gateways, data transaction consistency etc.)
• Knowledge of Kubernetes 
• Strong grasp of automation tools and you just love to automate things :) 
• Detail-oriented, resourceful, and self-motivated mindset. You get stuff done!
