Senior system engineer
Introduction:
An excellent opportunity for a System engineer in a System Integration area, to join a regional market leader Company.
The System Integration department is the technical know-how center and home of technical competences for building the best hybrid cloud solutions and to supporting our customers.
This role is suitable for senior level candidates.
What You’ll Do
- As a Senior System Engineer, you are best placed to discover the infrastructure challenges of our customers and to make suggestions for improvement.
- Plan, Design, develop and implement complex Data Center solutions and help our customers migrate to the future.
- Serve as regional subject matter expert
- Develop strong technical relationships within the target accounts and account teams; serve as trusted advisor to account teams & customers
- Work closely with all team members to interpret and evolve requirements into product features
- Actively work with customers to meet technical challenges and SLAs, with a proactive and preventive approach to problem solving
- Plan, organize and prioritize personal and team workload
What You’ll Need To Be Successful
- Bachelor and/or Master’s degree in Computer Science or similar and related areas
- Able to operate effectively in a team environment with both technical and non-technical team members and deliver projects on time
- Proven experience with production systems and dealing with production issues
- Experience in server virtualization platforms and hypervisors
- Experience in Enterprise Data Storage and/or Backup systems
- Experience with setting up and troubleshooting database clusters
- Experience in working with SAN attached (FC, FCoE) systems, RAID arrays, Lınux or UNIX platforms
- Experience in application server platforms (Apache Tomcat, Oracle Glassfish, IBM WebSphere)
- At least five years of experience in the above areas
- Good team player with excellent interpersonal & communication skills;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skill in English Language.
