About the Team

 

The Finance Officer - Procurement is an integral member of the Finance team. The Finance team is made up of 15 members and is split in 3 main functions: Treasury, Accountancy and Procurement. Our current focus is to build a strong team to excel in delivering current and future demands while working on becoming a proactive support function that is key in driving business performance.

 

The Finance Officer Procurement will be reviewing, interpreting, and managing contract requirements for new and existing contracts from various jurisdictions. You will collaborate with other internal stakeholders, and have a close relationship with our legal department, to ensure that Casumo gets the best purchasing deals possible to achieve maximum ROI. 

 

As a Finance Officer - Procurement You Will: 

 

• Take care of the day-to-day procurement duties and other office functions

• Review purchase requests, check details and convert to purchase orders.

• Analyze and calculate costs of procurement and suggest methods to decrease expenditures while using negotiation to secure profitable deals

• Analyzing and recording purchase invoices.

• Ensure that the allocation of budget and GL code is accurate.

• Assist in generating and implementing efficient sourcing.

• Perform cost and scenario analysis, benchmark and estimate risks, and apply risk minimizing techniques

• Communicating with internal stakeholders on various matters mainly how to create and allocate costs in the PR/PO.

• Supporting internal stakeholders with the reviewing of contacts and assisting in negotiating terms, but not be limited to, SLA’s, payment terms, product prices, volume discounts, and delivery requirements.

 

You Are:

 

• 1 year experience procurement environment, ideally within the IT or gaming industry.

• Understand contractual business lingo and capital purchase requests.

• Analytically-minded: like a seasoned scientist, you examine contracts under a microscope; you seek out the fine-print "gotchas", lay out the costs, and alert business owners of any and all associated risks.

• A communications virtuoso: whether written or verbal, your communications are well-meant and well-understood.

• A team player: dependable, flexible, and always contributing, you're all about working alongside other knowledgeable, fast-moving pros.
