Java Developer Job Summary

As a pioneer in the fields of financial information and the Internet, the team of ByteWorx has supported mainly companies from the stock exchange, banking, and financial information industry. The company has two offices, one in Munich, Germany and another one in Skopje, Macedonia.

We are seeking a highly-skilled, experienced Java developer to join our expanding IT team. In this role, you will help develop technology solutions that are scalable, relevant, and critical to our company’s success. You will focus on Java/JavaEE development throughout all phases of the development lifecycle and must have a solid skill set, a desire to continue to grow as a developer, and a team-player mentality.

Java Developer Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform impact analysis to output data processing based on user and client requirements. Analyzes documentation supporting changes in a complex production environment.
• Demonstrate expertise and add valuable input throughout the development lifecycle
• Test and debug new applications and updates
• Resolve reported issues and reply to queries in a timely manner
• Strive to deploy all products and updates on time
• Help improve code quality by implementing recommended best practices
• Remain up to date on all current best practices, trends, and industry developments

Java Developer Requirements and Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year experience in IT field, preferably in a corporate setting
• Hibernate/JPA, ORM Frameworks
• Java EE, Spring, EJB, Webservices
• MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle
• Distributed Computing (Terracota, JMS)
• OOA/OOD, UML
• Maven
• Microservices
• Design Patterns
• JSF
• Tomcat, Wildfly, Glassfish
