Network Solutions Architect
Introduction:
An excellent opportunity for a Network Architect in a System Integration area, to join a regional market leader company.
The System Integration department is the technical know-how center and home of technical competences for building the best private as well as hybrid cloud solutions, supporting our customers in their growth and digital transformation.
This role is suitable for senior level candidates.
What You’ll Do
- As a Network Solutions Architect you are best placed to discover the infrastructure challenges of our customers and make suggestions on improvements.
- Plan, Design, develop and quote complex on-prem, private or hybrid data center solutions and help our customers migrate and transform.
- Communicate with various vendors and their solution architects and technical pre-sales teams
- Serve as regional subject matter expert in data center networking solutions, covering primarily the markets of Macedonia, Albania and Kosovo
- Develop strong technical relationships within client teams and serve as trusted advisor to the customers
- Work closely with all team members to interpret and evolve requirements into product features
- Actively work with customers to meet technical challenges and SLAs, with a proactive and preventive approach to problem solving
- Be able to operate effectively in a team environment with both technical and non-technical team members and deliver projects on time
- Plan, organize and prioritize personal as well as team workload
What You’ll Need to be Successful
- Bachelor and/or Master’s degree in Computer Science or similar and related areas
- You should have a positive attitude and excellent communication skills to effectively share your knowledge
- Experience and knowledge in Enterprise / Data Center networks is a requirement
- In-depth knowledge of networking and associated technologies, including WAN, Layer 3 routing, Spanning Tree, LACP, BGP, OSPF, VXLAN, Layer 7 Load balancing, among others, is a requirement
- Proven experience with firewall technologies, including Network Address Translation, DMZ segmentation, IPS and IDS systems, sandboxing, clustering and high availability
- Proven experience with production systems and dealing with production issues
- Experience with design and implementation of Software-defined networking (SDN) technology / Software-Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN) will be considered an advantage
- Experience with Cisco NX-OS / Cisco IOS XE / Dell EMC SmartFabric OS10 / HPE ArubaOS / Juniper Junos OS / will be considered an advantage
- At least seven years of experience in the above areas is preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skill in English Language.
