ITD Distribucija Doo Skopje, an IT distribution company is seeking to recruit:

Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Administration of financial documents in accordance with legal regulations. 
• Is responsible for ensuring the accounting documentation in accordance with the set deadlines and informs the supervisor for the ascertained lack of documentation.
• Registration on daily basis of invoices and payments.
• Maintenance of accounting records and preparation of financial statements, including monthly and annual accounts.
• Assist in preparation of VAT.
• Checks that the documents have the right elements, organizes them, archives them and administers all the accounting documentation.
• Registers the bank transactions and those of the cash register. Controls the documents (cash book and bank’s journal), makes a reconciliation with them, and takes care for the exact application of the transaction with the respective documents (sales or expenses invoices, etc.)
• Checks the situation of the cash register, the sales with cash/the fiscal device, compares the accounting situation with the physical one and informs the supervisor for the differences.
• Prepares for the banks the information that justifies the transfers abroad (customs declarations, service invoices, etc.)
• Maintains the customers’ accounts in collaboration with the Sales Dept., and reports for their analytical obligations.
• Maintains the suppliers/vendors accounts and reconciles with the Logistic Dept. /Supplier. Evidences and informs the supervisor for the discrepancies.
• Prepares monthly statement of the purchases of goods and reconciles them in the system.
• Reports to the supervisors upon requests.
• Escalates to the Supervisor the problems he/she faces during the work processes.

Candidate’s Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in Economics – Finance and Accounting.
• Minimum 2 years of work experience as accountant.
• Accounting license - advantage 
• Excellent knowledge of financial legislative of North Macedonia and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skill in English Language.
• Able to operate effectively in a team environment with excellent interpersonal skills.

Other

• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Navision – an advantage.
