Quality Assurance Engineer
Main Responsibilities
• Maintaining of all system, process and product requirements based on the Product certification directives, Customer specification and KEMET guidelines.
• Support quality improvement initiatives by identifying statistical methods relevant to manufacturing processes.
• Handling of Customer Non-Conformities by implementing problem-solving tools, respecting KEMET QCN guidelines.
• Quality reporting vs Plant, Business Group, Corporate Management.
• Performing Internal Process & Product Audits.
• Handling of RTI (Request for Technical Information) related to Process/Product.
• Ensures the compliance of already adopted rulebooks and procedures related to the quality of raw materials and product during all the process step till the customer delivery.
• Monitors compliance with the KEMET Global Code of Conduct.
• Management of Document Data Bases in Lotus Notes.
• Support the Quality Manager for all the other aspects related to Quality Management System.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in quality / mechanical / electrical / material engineering;
• Excellent written, verbal and listening communication skills in English;
• Knowledge and understanding of ISO9001, IATF16949 and European Directive related to Quality and Environment;
• Familiarity with problem finding: Pareto, Histograms, sampling plans and problem-solving methods: Ishikawa, 5W, 8D, PDCA;
• Knowledge of automotive tools: FMEA, SPC, MSA, Control Plan and PPAP;
• Creativity and ability to think “outside the box” when solving problems;
• Able to work in a team, proposing solutions and considering different point of view.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Previous experience in Quality preferred.
