Job summary:
Procurement Supervisor is responsible for market research and pricing calculation. He/She reports to the Director of Procurement.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and maintain procedures and policies specific to food procurement;
- Provide input for new project execution and compliance;
- Develop and maintain a network to regional partners relevant to this section;
- Maintain a strong relationship with other departments;
- Ensure that corporate policies and procedures are at all the time obeyed;
- Promote and maintain diversity, team work, respect, strong work ethics and job satisfaction;
- Develop and maintain proper documentation of work activities as appropriate;
- Reviews and responds to all requests from other departments related to food procurement;
- Responsible for organization, review of market research pricing calculation;
- Performs Vendor background check for creation of agreements and contracts;
- Perform other duties in line with position as may be reasonably required
- Always available to assist in any issues that may occur
Qualification:
- At least 5 years of experience in food procurement, or Catering Service Food production training or Governments Hotel and tourism associate Certification.
- Fluent in English language.
- Knowledge of regional languages including Turkish is an asset.
