Our client is an emerging technology leader based in the UK, providing voice biometrics and other sophisticated security solutions. They are currently recruiting for fully remote roles to complement their existing team.

In this senior Java role, you will be responsible for the company’s server-side tech and the development of core components, as well as lead a small team as the company embarks on an exciting journey of opening its SaaS product offering to new clients.

For this role we need someone who has:

· At least 6 to 8 years' experience with Java 8 or above and capable of writing good test-driven code with mocking.
· Also important to have experience in the use of Junit, AWS, HTML, JavaScript, Maven, Docker, Websphere, Tomcat, SVN/Git, JMockit/Mockito/EasyMock , Angular/React.
· Experience in DevOps and able to help with setting up and maintaining of Jenkins pipelines.

While the role is on a contract basis, the package offered is the same as that offered to other employees, including vacation leave and equity option.
