Local IT – Coordinator

Responsible for maintaining and administering company’s network. The primary duties are maintenance of computer network, hardware, software, and other related systems, protecting data, implement, administer, and troubleshoot network devices including Wireless access points, switches, routers, firewalls, knowledge of network infrastructure protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Installing, configuring and support network equipment including routers, firewalls, switches
• Managing network devices, security appliance as well as maintaining and documenting appropriate access procedure
• Install and integrate new server hardware
• Keep an eye out for needed updates
• Monitor network performance (availability, utilization, throughput, good put, latency) 
• Maintain daily performance of Network Systems
• Maintain information security for sensitive data
•  Coordinating computer network access
• Respond to email messages for customers seeking help
• Knowledge of application transport and network infrastructure protocols
• Ask questions to determine nature of problem
• Create reports and documentation
• Walk the customer through the problem-solving process

Qualifications:

• University Degree in Computer Sciences or related studies; At least 2 years expertise in network administration
• Knowledge of Cisco ASA and FTD, Cisco Meraki, BGP, IPsec (preferable)
• Certification like CCNA, CCNP
• Good troubleshooting methodology
• Knowledge in Windows server administration, improvements
• Knowledge in VMware infrastructure administration, improvements
• Solid experience designing and implementing network solutions Knowledge in IT Infrastructure and IT processes 
• Analytical skills and writing report skills
• Ability to plan and organize self and work to achieve objectives and targets
• Fluent in English language
• German language skills would be an advantage
