SITE MANAGER
Our construction company is looking for a site manager for the implementation of various international retail stores.
An architect/engineer with experience +5 years is required. Need to possess a good knowledge of the implementation in interior works and fitout process.
About the role
An exciting opportunity presents for a site manager to join our team on a long-term contract basis.
Candidate and the role shall be for all aspects of site management, including but not limited to planning and supervising a wide range of construction projects from start to finish, coordinating operations and overseeing workers at construction sites. As the point of reference of both workers and supervisors, you will be a key person for the completion of projects. You will organise and oversee construction procedures and ensure they are completed in a timely and efficient manner. Deliver projects on time according to project specification and budget requirements.
As a Site Manager, you will utilise your extensive technical and practical construction knowledge to build high quality interior retail shops in accordance with the projects and the Company’s safety standards.
You will be responsible for the construction sites in Macedonia, Bulgaria, Greece, etc.
Your Role Will Include But Not Limited To
- Conduct daily site inspections and manage job rounds to ensure the most efficient job flow and progress possible
- Utilising knowledge and experience of construction to identify opportunities for improvement and to effectively problem solve
- Promote and maintain safe work protocols at all times
- Deliver exceptional customer service to all Company stakeholders, building effective professional relationships
- Assist the Service Department through queries and take responsibility for delivering a high-quality build
- Collaborate with engineers, architects etc. to determine the specifications of the project
- Negotiate contracts with external vendors
- Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations and timeframe or schedule
- Supervise the work of laborers, mechanics, electrics etc. and give them guidance when needed
- Administer contracts of Sub-contractors
- Evaluate progress and prepare daily detailed reports
- Communicate defects from responsible person to team onsite
- Produce schedules and forward plan for labour and materials associated to each project
- Monitor attendance of crew, including sub-contractors, and supervise the use of machinery and equipment
You We are looking for an experienced, high performing Site Manager with a passion for delivering an exceptional client experience. In Addition, You Will Also Possess
· Minimum 5 years' Architectural experience within the Interior Design Industry
· Strong understanding of construction / interior decoration works.
· Driving Licensee
· Sound understanding of relevant legislation, standards and codes as per local norms
· Experience interpreting building plans, engineers reports and specifications
· Sound problem solving, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
· Passionate in delivering exceptional customer service to all Company stakeholders
· Well organised and superior time management
· Driven for continuous improvement
