JOB SUMMARY
The HVAC lead is responsible for the 24/7 efficient and continues functioning of the HVAC units in his site. He is the contact person for the customer, Ecolog supervisors and subcontractors. In this role, he is directly reporting to the responsible Project Manager.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Participate in the installation, maintenance, modification, overhaul, service and repair of air conditioning and refrigeration systems and equipment.
- Mounts compressor and condenser units on platform or floor, using hand tools, following blueprints or engineering specifications
- Fabricates, assembles and installs ductwork and chassis parts, using portable metalworking tools and welding equipment
- Connects motors, compressors, temperature controls, humidity controls and circulating ventilation fans to control panels and connects control panels to power source
- May install, repair and service air conditioners, ranging from fifteen to twenty tons cooling capacity, in warehouses and small factory buildings.
Languages:
- At least 5 years of managerial experience.
- Fluent in English language.
- Knowledge of German is an asset.
