System Administrator Responsibilities:

• Installing, setup and configuring servers based on CentOS.
• Administering server-clusters.
• Enable restricted Dev-Team to access the servers.
• Support dev-team with logfile analysis.
• Setup apache-tomcat-mysql applications based on mod_jk for loadbalancing
• Plan and create jenkins jobs for Build and Deploying
• Installing, configuring and administer client systems. windows-workstation (windows 7 , windows 10) and macos workstations
• support for internal used application like Jenkins, Jira, Confluence, Artifactory, SVN (create/delete user accounts, setting permissions)

DevOps Requirements and Qualifications:

• Jira, Confluence, Office.
• Jenkins, Jmeter.
• PostgrSQL, MySQL, Oracle (at least basics).
• phpMyAdmin, phpPgAdmin.
• SSH-Konsole (Linux).
• Operatingsystems: CentOS/Redhat (used for Server-Installations), Debian, Windows, MacOS
• Nagios Monitoring.
• SQL.
• Shell-Script, Windows Batch.
• Iptables, openVPN.
• Knowlegde in TCP/IP networks.
• Define, create and installing Firewall-Rules (iptables, firewall-cmd).
• Know how Client-Server applications interact.
