For our branch in Zhelino, we are looking for a talented, experienced and initiative personality in the following position:
PRODUCTION AND LOGISTICS MANAGER
Responsibilities:
- Directs and coordinates the activities of all blue and white collar employees engaged in the field of production and logistics (Assembly, Cut and Sew, Industrial Engineering, Procurement and Logistics)
- Evaluating operations for improvement to optimize equipment capacity or manpower utilization to improve sales and/or profit objectives.
- Develops specific production goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and meet customer requirements.
- Develops charts, KPI´s and other records and reports in order to determine production requirements and to evaluate current production goals and outputs.
- Develops budgets and approves expenditures for supplies, and materials, ensuring that materials, labor, and equipment are used efficiently to meet production targets.
- Monitors the production run to make sure that it stays on schedule and correct any problems that may arise.
- Ensuring operations meet all production/customer commitments, quality standards and customer specifications.
- Initiating process improvements, cost control procedures and yield improvements to enhance the overall efficiency and cost effectiveness of production operations.
- Development of internal logistic concepts (material staging, supermarkets, efficient logistic routes and layout planning)
- Develop JIT-Systems (Supermarkets, Kanban, e-Kanban, misc)
- Visual Management, Shop floor Management, Gemba-Walks, 5-S
- Preparation and monitoring Business plans together with the Finance Department
- Maintaining a safe working environment for personnel by providing training, equipment or operation changes, equipment maintenance, and meetings on safety.
Requirements and qualifications:
- BSC / Master in mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering or BSC/ Master degree in Business Administration
- Minimum 5 years expertise in the area of corporate planning / Production Management
- Experience in the Production activities such as planning, procurement and shop floor tools
- Experience in Logistics activities such as cost optimization and increasing picking efficiency.
- Experience in optimization projects required
- Familiar with quality tools such as 8D reports
- Good knowledge, experience in the application of lean methods required such as push & pull, KANBAN, misc.
- Excellent English (spoken and written), German will be considered as an advanage
- Proficient SAP User
- Proficient MS Office
