Position: Software Engineer

We are a dynamic and forward-thinking MediaWiki development company looking for a skilled Software Developer to join our remote team. If you are passionate about software development and have a knack for coding, debugging, and creating innovative solutions, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain MediaWiki and related components.
• Work with PHP, MySQL/MariaDB, and JavaScript/jQuery to build robust software solutions.
• Utilize APIs for seamless integration between systems.
• Experience with Docker
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support ongoing projects and deployments.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and perform unit testing to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Document development processes and maintain clear project records.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in PHP
• Experience with MySQL/MariaDB or other relational databases.
• Strong JavaScript and jQuery skills.
• Familiarity with Git for version control and team collaboration.
• Ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
• Proficiency in English (written).

Nice to Have

• Experience with Lua.
• Knowledge of MediaWiki and Wikibase.
• Basic Linux server administration for deployment and maintenance.
• Proficiency in English (spoken).
