About the Role:

As a Senior Software Developer on the Platform Team at Freespee, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of their powerful conversational platform. Working collaboratively with a talented team of engineers, you will architect, develop, and maintain robust backend systems using NodeJS and Typescript. Your expertise will be pivotal in automating key processes between Freespee and its telecom operator partners, ensuring seamless communication across multiple countries and area codes.

 

What You'll Do:

• Lead the development and implementation of automation projects, driving efficiency and accuracy in telecom partnerships.
• Contribute to the creation of a versatile platform that supports both internal and external product development.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define software architecture, design specifications, and documentation.
• Ensure high code quality through clean coding practices and test-driven development.
• Work with container orchestration systems like Docker and Kubernetes to optimize scalability and performance.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and drive continuous improvement within the team.

Desired Qualifications:

• Strong experience in building robust backend systems using NodeJS and Typescript.
• Proficiency in developing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code (IaC) in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.).
• Knowledge of Microservices-based architecture and hands-on experience with container orchestration systems.
• Passion for writing clean, testable, and scalable code.
• Familiarity with operational aspects such as monitoring, logging, and performance optimization.
