We are currently on the hunt for Salesforce Administrators and Salesforce Developers that will be responsible for the Salesforce.com platform for our client.
SALESFORCE ADMINISTRATOR
Main purpose of the Role: Responsible for the management and daily operation and administration of the Salesforce.com platform.
You will perform:
- General account and contact administration to ensure efficient de-duping and clean records are maintained at all times
- User administration, rights and security management
- Dashboard, list view and report creation, customisation and publishing
- Data importing and exporting
- Basic online training for group staff, largely by how-to videos, but live online when needed
- Relationship management with Salesforce.com to ensure licensing is up to date and new features are tested and rolled out as appropriate
- Salesforce integrations (with technical support where needed) with Sales Navigator, Office 365 and other applications as instructed
Key Tasks and Accountabilities:
- Acquiring, collating and assessing requests for customisations from the customer's group agencies and the executive team
- Producing, testing and launching new Salesforce functionality
- Supporting a 30+ Salesforce user environment; working with employees to troubleshoot problems in Salesforce
- Management and creation of page layouts and record types, creating new fields and custom objects
- Creating and managing workflows and validation rules, reporting and building complex dashboards
- Work with the Head of each agency to launch & train on all new functionality and to support post-launch
Essential Criteria:
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of objects, fields, workflows and Validation rules
- Good analytical skills and thorough attention to detail
- Ability to work accurately, deliver high standards and work to tight deadlines
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Enthusiasm, patience and enquiring nature to ensure you can work through issues with people and get to the root of problems
- Experience working in a fast-moving environment
SALESFORCE DEVELOPER
Main purpose of the Role: The primary role for this position is hands-on software implementations, while managing and developing new ideas on the Salesforce platform for one of our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Acquiring, collating and assessing requests for new functionality within our customer Salesforce.com environment.
- Producing, testing and launching new Salesforce functionality
- Creating and managing workflows and validation rules, reporting and building complex dashboards
- Management and creation of page layouts and record types, creating new fields and custom objects
- Regular sprint-cycle and related activities such as daily stand-up, design sessions, sprint planning, sprint retrospectives, code reviews, etc.
Requirements:
- Understanding of SFDC including objects, fields, workflows and Validation rules
- Programming languages APEX, Java, PHP
- Practical experience of the Force.com API, APEX, Visualforce and other tools to extend the product to meet user's needs.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
