Linux System Administrator

Role: The position will be responsible for Linux Server Management within the system environment.

 

Shift work: two shifts

 

excellent knowledge skills required:

 

· Must have System Administration expertise in Linux OS (RedHat, Fedora, Ubuntu, Arch).

· Must have exception skills and knowledge in bash and git, mysql / nosql db general admin.

· Must be able to work on a terminal only keyboard working environment for devops.

 

average knowledge skills required:

· Good knowledge about the general Linux Kernel, system files, boot process and Run levels

· Good knowledge in Linux OS installation, Software and Patch management (yum, apt, pacman)

· Good knowledge in Red Hat, Oracle and Vmware OS Visualization.

Qualifications:

 

High School / University Graduates, only relevant RedHat certifications will be added advantage

 

Type of Employment:

Full Time (first contract for 3-6 months)

 

Language Requirements:

Candidates with knowledge of English, German and or French will have an advantage.
