We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented IT Support Specialist to join our team. The IT Support Specialist will be responsible for providing technical assistance, troubleshooting, and resolving IT-related issues for our employees. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and excellent problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
• Provide first-line technical support to employees, responding to and resolving IT-related issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network problems, diagnosing and resolving issues to ensure minimal disruption to workflow.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, hardware, software applications, and peripheral devices.
• Set up and support user accounts, permissions, and access rights in accordance with company policies.
• Collaborate with team members to assist in the implementation and maintenance of IT infrastructure and systems.
• Assist in deploying and managing software updates, patches, and security configurations.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including user guides, FAQs, and knowledge base articles.
• Escalate complex issues to the appropriate IT teams and follow up until resolution.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven 2+ years of experience working as an IT Support Specialist or in a similar technical support role.
• Strong knowledge of computer systems, hardware, software applications, and networking concepts.
• Experience with troubleshooting common hardware and software issues across different platforms (Windows, macOS, etc.).
• Familiarity with Active Directory, Office 365, and remote support tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and provide innovative solutions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical individuals.
• Ability to work well under pressure, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
• Able to work 15.00 - 23.00 h (US working hours)
