For our branch in Zhelino, we are looking for a talented, experienced and initiative personality in the following position:

PRODUCTION MANAGER

Responsibilities:

• Directs and coordinates the activities of all blue- and white-collar employees engaged in the field of production (assembly, upholstery, cut and sew and Production Schedule)
• Performs and optimizes the work places by using lean analysing tools and workshops for the development of improving potentials such as value-adding and wasting activities, 5S, SMED, Visual management, Gemba Walks & Poka Yoke
• Evaluates the operations for improvement and plans economical manufacturing solutions and manpower utilization to improve sales and/or profit objectives.
• Ensures operations meet all production/customer commitments, quality standards and customer specifications as on time deliveries.
• Develops specific production goals by prioritising, organizing, and meeting customer requirements.
• Develops charts, KPI´s and other records in order to determine production requirements with evaluating current production goals and outputs.
• Develops budget and approves expenditures for supplies, materials, ensuring that materials, labor, and equipment are used efficiently to meet production targets.
• Initiates process improvements, cost control procedures and yield improvements to enhance the overall efficiency and cost effectiveness of production operations.
• Maintains safe working environment for personnel by providing training, equipment or operational changes, equipment maintenance.

Requirements and qualifications:

• BSC / Master in mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering or BSC/ Master degree in Business Administration
• Minimum 5 years expertise in the area of corporate planning / Production Management
• Experience in the Production activities such as planning and Lean Methods and shop floor organization
• Experience in Production optimization projects required
• Familiar with quality tools such as 8D reports
• Good knowledge, experience in the application of lean methods required such as push & pull, KANBAN, misc.
• Excellent English (spoken and written), German will be considered as an advantage
• Proficient SAP User
• Proficient MS Office
• A proactive leader with excellent communication and analytical skills, self-driven with can do attitude. Min. 3 year of experience on similar position
