Network engineer (Dell SD WAN)
Position overview:
An excellent opportunity to join a rapidly growing regional market leader company in the System Integration line of business.
The Network engineer position, related to various enterprise networking solutions, aims to discover the infrastructure challenges of our customers and make suggestions on improvements, expansions, data migrations, consolidations, and security improvement projects.
The System Integration department is the technical know-how center and home of technical competencies for building modern private as well as hybrid cloud solutions, supporting our customers in their growth and digital transformation journey.
This role is suitable for mid and senior-level candidates.
What You’ll Do
- As a technical pre-sales engineer, you are best placed in designing, sizing and configuring enterprise network infrastructure, security solutions and related data center technologies for private as well as government customers in the region.
- Activities include planning, design, sizing, and development of complex on-prem, private, or hybrid data center solutions and helping our customers migrate and transform their business.
- Communicate with the relevant partners (such as Dell Technologies) and their solution architects and engineering teams in preparing optimal designs and customer solutions
- Serve as regional subject matter expert within the Infosoft Systems group on enterprise level SD WAN networking solutions, covering primarily the markets of Macedonia, Albania, and Kosovo
- Develop strong technical relationships within the target accounts and account teams; serve as a trusted advisor to the account teams & customers
- Work closely with all team members to interpret and evolve customer requirements into product features
- Plan, organize and prioritize personal as well as team workload
What You’ll Need to be Successful
- Bachelor and/or Master’s degree in Computer Science or similar and related areas
- You should have a positive attitude and excellent communication skills to effectively share your knowledge
- Be able to operate effectively in a team environment with both technical and non-technical team members and deliver complex projects on time
- Proven experience in solutions design and support of enterprise WAN solutions and architectures
- In-depth knowledge of networking and associated technology, including LAN and WAN, routing, BGP, OSPF, File Transfer Protocols, Telnet and Secure Shell, Load balancing, Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol, among others.
- Knowledge of MPLS, LTE and enterprise level broadband internet services
- Understanding of Enterprise WAN technologies and concepts
- Previous experience with Dell Technologies WAN Edge Infrastructure solutions or related virtual WAN architectures such as VMware, Cisco and HPE Aruba will be considered an advantage
- 4+ years of experience in the above areas
- Good team player with excellent interpersonal & communication skills;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in the English language.
