Personal Assistant to the CEO

We are looking for a new Junior Finance Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have previous knowledge of the banking industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Checking and controlling the necessary documentation for a loan application.
  • Accounts Receivable: Generating and sending invoices to customers, following up on overdue payments, communicating with customers to resolve issues, Researching, and resolving discrepancies and keeping records of any discrepancies or differences in the payments/transactions.
  • Payments and Bank reconciliation: Processing the payments in the system, tracking customer payments and deposits, coordinating with the Treasury Department to ensure timely bank payments and balances. Daily bank reconciliation to ensure completeness.
  • Preparing reports that provide an overview of accounts receivable aging, collections, and customer account activity.
  • Providing excellent customer service and responding to inquiries regarding billing or account balances.
  • Recording/posting journal entries/accounting data in the software system up to date.
  • Setting up new customers in the system, adding and monitoring the credit limits.
  • Daily communication with other departments, informing about cash balances, AR balances and other relevant information.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business or a relevant field
  • At least 1+ year of experience in a bank or similar role (back office preferrable)
  • Systems analysis
  • Critical thinking and active learning
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with a developed sense of responsibility
  • Strong work ethic and sense of integrity, trustworthiness, and ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Creative in brainstorming and proposing new ideas and solutions
  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Experience in a relevant industry is an advantage
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel)
  • Able to work 15.00 – 23.00h (US working hours)
