Job description:

• Lead and undertake the formal requirements analysis of functional and non-functional requirements, translating them into the appropriate product documentation, including user stories, diagrams and functional specification
• Manage, mentor and be the escalation point for a small team (2-3) of Business Analysts
• Take responsibility for the quality, accuracy, completeness and usability of the documentation produced by your team
• Work with Product Owners, UX&D, test and technical teams to validate captured requirements
• Take a highly consultative approach in managing the customer and provide clear recommendations for solution strategies and options
• Support team members throughout the product life-cycle, including pro-active raising of issues, dependencies and risks
• Work in a highly collaborative and multi-disciplinary Scrum framework
• Facilitate workshops with the customer, internal teams and third-party vendors

 

Skills and Experience:

• Minimum 2-3 years’ experience is required
• Experience from a Senior Business Analyst or Product owner position
• Capable of acting as a line manager, mentor and reviewer
• Expertise in technical analysis of large-scale software development projects with a heavy emphasis on backend systems and third-party integration
• Proven experience in delivering bespoke and off-the-shelf solutions, as well as native apps and responsive websites
• Extensive experience with requirement workshops, user stories, gherkin syntax, story maps, UML, data analysis and wireframes
• Hands on experience with Jira and Confluence
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and confidently handle deadlines, priorities and constraints
• History in agency is desirable, though other areas will also be considered
• Open and confident communicator, willing to take on all issues in a professional manner and to work with clients and team members until issues are satisfactorily resolved
• Outstanding customer-facing skills. Proven experience in working on client site are highly desirable
• History in broadcast and media is a plus, though other areas will also be considered
